After the machine has started, only the running phase pilot light stays on. When the programme has finished, the END light comes on. Programme information Rinses With this programme it is possible to rinse and spin the garments which have been washed by hand. The machine performs 3 rinses, followed by a final spin at the maximum speed. The spin speed can be reduced by depressing SPIN button. The final spin is foreseen only for cotton items as in the spin programme. 13 ENGLISH Washing hints Sorting the laundry Follow the wash code symbols on each garment label and the manufacturer's washing instructions. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens. Quantity of detergent to be used The type and quantity of detergent will depend on the type of fabric, load size, degree of soiling and hardness of the water used. Water hardness is classified in so-called "degrees" of hardness. Information on hardness of the water in your area can be obtained from the relevant water supply company, or from your local authority.
