Ingress Rate Active Commit Rate Active Peak Rate Active Egress Rate Apply Select this check box to activate commit rate limits on this port. Specify the guaranteed bandwidth allowed in kilobits per second (Kbps) for the incoming traffic flow on a port. The commit rate should be less than the peak rate. The sum of commit rates cannot be greater than or equal to the uplink bandwidth. Select this check box to activate peak rate limits on this port. Specify the maximum bandwidth allowed in kilobits per second (Kbps) for the incoming traffic flow on a port. Select this check box to activate egress rate limits on this port. Specify the maximum bandwidth allowed in kilobits per second (Kbps) for the outgoing traffic flow on a port. Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch's run-time memory. The Switch loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Save link on the top navigation panel to save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you are done configuring. Click Cancel to reset the fields. Broadcast storm control limits the number of broadcast, multicast and destination lookup failure (DLF) packets the Switch receives per second on the ports. When the maximum number of allowable broadcast, multicast and/or DLF packets is reached per second, the subsequent packets are discarded.
